Universal and Quality Education

Uddeshya Bharti is the nodal agency of Buxar district on education for “Voluntary Forum for Education (VFE)”. It has been advocating for Universal Quality Education with Government of Bihar. It is one of the core committee members of VFE which organises annual conference on education. This conference is participated by the top government officials, ministers, development partners and NGOs along with noted academicians of the Nation.

Uddeshya Bharti has been assisting the district in monitoring of the primary and middle schools in Buxar districts since 2008. Every year two panchayat are selected randomly to carry out a survey of two school from each Panchayat to access the quality of education in the district and finding is inculcated in the State report and presented at the annual conference It is one of the partners of “Vaada Na Thodo Abhiyaan” of UNMC, under the leadership of VFE. Since 2008 around 1250 students have pledged to raised the issue of quality education through lighting the lamps in their respective school. The component of the activity is known as “Stand Up and Take Action”.
